Welcome to The Super Review!
This is the site that goes farther, digs deeper and comes out with a slightly shinier new cape. While other reviews only rate a book, The Super Review takes a closer look at what went wrong, what could have been done better, and ultimately, how you can write a better book!
This is a site dedicated to critiquing the works of superhero fiction that have gone before and discussing the way forward for the next generation of superheroes. These are reviews for writers. Whether it’s a novel, a short story in an anthology, an established comic book hero or an all new original character, you can learn how to avoid all the villainous pitfalls of the superhero genre and make your novel the best it can be.
For now, I only review novels and anthologies, but it’s only a matter of time before my critical eye passes over the writing of graphic novels, film scripts and television. After all, lessons can be learned from all type of writing and applied to our own work.
